A father and daughter had a close and wonderful encounter with Southern Right Whales in Argentina. The whales clearly didn’t want to hurt them, and in fact I’ve heard of a similar thing happening here in the Northwest in Barkely Sound. The gentleness of these giants is awe inspiring.
In our waters there is an important buffer zone around whales that must be respected.
