Sailor Anna Tunnicliffe made a lasting impression on sailors and non-sailors alike when she posed for ESPN The Magazine’s Body issue in 2012. Apparently it made a lasting impression on the editors as well, because none other than America’s Cup skipper Jimmy Spithill is one of the featured athletes this year.
The Pacific Northwest will claim Marshawn Lynch as “its” entry in the Body Issue, but sailors everywhere can take some comfort that sailing’s presence wasn’t one-and-done with Tunnicliffe.
