As part of First Friday’s at CYC, Pat Healy from Detroit will be giving his talk on “Ten Mistakes Coaches Most Often See,” an entertaining presentation that incorporates tactics, some rules and some protest presentations. He covers a lot of small quick stuff so that everyone usually leaves with some new ideas—he even talks about why port tack must keep clear of starboard tack. Pat was coach at the US Naval Academy for nine years and coach of the Canadian Olympic team for three Olympics. He is an International Judge with Olympic Judging experience and brings a wealth of experience. Don’t miss this opportunity .

The clubhouse club opens at 6pm and the talk starts at 7. The bar will be open. Rachel, our cook, is on a well-deserved vacation so the CYC kitchen will be closed. Folks are encouraged to bring something homemade or take out (e.g., a pizza) for the potluck table.
