A longtime staple of lazy day lake cruising, the pontoon boat has been classically known more for comfort and ease than style and substance. No longer. Meet the 2022 Diamante D26T from Indiana-based Viaggio, a sleek, sophisticated, and sporty pontoon that drew plenty of onlookers at the Seattle Boat Show in February with her stunning good looks. Formerly known as Misty Harbor, the Viaggio brand rebranded in 2021 and completely rebuilt its pontoons from the decks up. With bold, angled lines from bow to stern, the freshened models now include such luxury touches as matte metallic finishes, custom extruded rails, and buttery, customizable upholstery, as well as add-on options like power bimini tops, pro-series ski tow bars, and either RBG or LED exterior lights, installed underdeck and aft underwater, to illuminate the way on sunset cruises. The 26-footer that turned heads at SBS also features three captain’s chairs in addition to classic lounge seating available in front and back of the vessel, allowing for up to 15 guests to get out on the water, and comes in standard, sport, or a triple-engine options that can really pump up the party with an output of 300 hp. The Viaggio line is now available in the Northwest via Camano Marine on Camano Island (camanomarine.com); for more details, visit: viaggiopontoonboats.com.
