The Kenmore boat ramp on the north end of the lake will be closed for renovation from Monday, Nov. 18 through mid-March.
State Fish and Wildlife owns and operates the facility on the Sammamish River.
Work includes turning it from a single-lane to a double-lane ramp, installing new wheelchair-accessible flush toilets and paving the parking lot.
State fisheries planned this time of the year so it doesn’t interfere with the peak boating spring and summer months.
The work project was also done in part with the City of Kenmore, which provided funding to upgrade the facility. The city will maintain the site once the renovation is complete.
