The Bob Perry-designed Icon smashed the Oregon Offshore Race record by nearly five hours, according the Oregon Offshore Race Blog: “Icon crossed the finished line at 23:06:20 giving her an un-official elapsed time of 14:56:20 beating Rage‘s 2000 record by 4:50:21! Neptune’s Car crossed at 23:13:20 and Ocelot crossed at 23:29:32.”
