The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has announced that there will be no fishing season for steelhead this year for the upper Columbia River. The announcement was made on the heels of a report that said the run is only at 33 percent of the ten-year average of counts at Priest Rapids Dam. More information can be found at wdfw.wa.gov.
