In its 81st year, the Bremerton Yacht Club will once again host the Heavy Weather race Saturday February 14th, 2015.
Observer training is scheduled on Wednesday Feb 11th with the arrival of guest boats on Friday Feb 13th. The event runs Friday Feb. 13th – Sunday Feb. 15th, 2015.

Jim VanAntwerp, the Regatta for Power Chair has designed the race route to live up to not only being the largest predicted log race in the world, but one deserving of the “Heavy Weather” title by taking the racers around Blakely rocks and into the open Puget Sound in the midst of winter.
