Boating season is officially here. What are a few of the services boaters should take advantage of now to get vessels ready for the summer months ahead?
Due to the impacts of this prolonged pandemic on logistics and labor shortages, it is critical for boaters to have a strong relationship with a repair facility they trust. Along with every other boat repair business, here at Monkey Fist Marine we are booking repairs several months into the future, so the top three services you should plan for and schedule now include (but are not limited to): any necessary engine services, inspection and proofing of plumbing and electrical systems, and heating system services.
Tell us a little about more about your Signature Yacht Management Program. What does this service entail and what are the benefits for boat owners?
Our Signature Yacht Management Program is designed for the owner who values having their vessel ready when they are. Program participants pay a monthly fee to receive regular inspections of their vessel, winterizing services, and get priority repairs during high cruising season. The most important benefit is that Signature Yacht Management Program keeps your boat maintained year round, thus you avoid the spring rush.
You also work with several companies to help install their products on vessels. What are a few products you would recommend boaters check out? Any that are particularly helpful to boating in the Northwest?

The Ballard location also adds additional services that include woodworking, fabrication, and coatings on site.
