A Flock of Thunderbirds

 This weekend approximately 15 Thunderbird sailboats will be gathering and racing in Gig Harbor Bay for the Thunderbird Rendezvous. The Gig Harbor BoatShop and Thunderbird Fleet 1 are hosting this fun event.

With Gig Harbor and the historic Eddon Boatyard being the birthplace of the Thunderbird sailboat, we want to raise awareness of this endearing sloop’s importance and give the public an opportunity to see a good size fleet racing.
