Created by the Port Townsend Pocket Yachters club and now part of Northwest Maritime Center’s family of events, the Salish 100 is the largest small-boat cruise in North America as over 135 boats together cruise 100 nautical miles—the full length of Puget Sound—from Olympia to Port Townsend. After that cruise runs from July 18-25, many boaters will meet up at the Port Ludlow Marina on the 26-27 to take in the first-ever Pocket Yachters Small Boat Festival, where just over 75 mini-but-mighty vessels are expected to be on display.
