The new Pardo Endurance 60 certainly lives up to its name, with a range of about 900 miles. The yacht also doesn’t skimp on wide open spaces for recreation and entertaining, while still maintaining elegant interior design. Introduced in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Endurance 60 is the first Pardo model to support long-range capability, cruising comfortably at 10 to 12 knots or planing flat out at up to 25 knots. With copious amounts of soundproofing throughout, the Endurance 60 operates with low noise, even at high speeds.
The inverted bow, which is increasingly common in modern yacht design, cuts an eye-catching profile for the Endurance 60. However, it’s most noticeable feature may be seen while the boat is at anchor. The gunwales and swim platform around the cockpit can be lowered hydraulically down to the water surface. These fold-out terraces create an impressive 440 square feet of veranda space, providing room for a dining area that can be protected from the sun by an electric Bimini top.
The enclosed helm station offers 270 degrees of visibility and provides the skipper quick access to the side deck via an adjacent door. Up top, the completely open flybridge features a second helm station and can be furnished with sofas, cushioned sunbeds, and a refrigerator.
Even in interior spaces, the walkaround layout provides ample room for movement to exterior areas. The finishes combine white lacquers with blond teak and can be customized with a wide variety of materials, fabrics, and colors. All the furniture is made in the carpentry department of the revered Cantiere del Pardo shipyard.
An accordion door separates the salon from the cockpit, creating another large open space. The raised dining and lounge are positioned towards the bow for broad panoramic views. The fully equipped kitchen is positioned with easy access to dining tables and the outside cockpit.
On the lower deck, the centrally positioned owner’s suite includes a sofa and spacious wardrobes. The VIP cabin at the bow has a private head available with either two single beds in a V-shaped configuration or one double bed, and a third guest cabin features two beds. A two-bed crew cabin, positioned under the aft-deck sunbed, has direct access to the engine room.
The twin fuel-efficient hybrid Volvo Penta IPS engines are available in IPS 700 or 800 models, providing eco-sustainability and optional Dynamic Positioning System capability for delicate mooring maneuvers, even with limited crew support.
