“Some details are really amazing in this project, especially if we think of her size,” notes Massimo Gino, a founder of Nauta Design, a firm which has designed many Beneteau models including the Oceanis 30.1. “The aft platform is very comfortable and the shape of the deck on either side of the companionway has been angled for better use of the deck hatches. The interior spaces are strikingly large and high for boat this size, and when you enter the shower room you feel like you are on a much bigger yacht.”
For performance, the Oceanis 30.1 has a square-top mainsail, a large overlapping genoa, a furling code zero, and an asymmetric spinnaker. Cruisers can choose between standard draft, shallow draft, swing keel and lifting keel options depending on their primary cruising needs.
