Honda Marine has just announced three new jet outboard motors to their lineup, the Honda 40 Jet, 65 Jet, and 105 Jet. These jet drives are touted by the manufacturer to offer additional flexibility in shallow waters with the same dependable, quiet, fuel efficient benefits of traditional prop outboards. These outboards do not have a gearcase or propeller extending below the hull, giving them a low-profile foot design.
“The launch of the new Honda 40 Jet, 65 Jet, and 105 Jet will power boats to shallows where prop engines can’t go,” said Will Walton, Assistan Vice President of Honda Marine in a press release. “These engines mark Honda’s entry into a new segment of the market.”
If you’re on the market for an outboard but the traditional options don’t excite you, one of these new Honda Marine jet models may be the ticket. Check out marine.honda.com for more information.
