Designed by Ed Monk Jr. and custom built by Nordlund Yachts of Tacoma, Washington, the Sea Eagle is a stable and seaworthy yacht for short or long-distance cruising.
Well-built and comfortable, she features three staterooms, two heads and an expansive master suite. The full-width midship master suite features excellent storage, a walk-around queen berth, and en suite head. There are two comfy twin cabins that share a head and all heads have stall showers. Sea Eagle also has a spacious salon aft with a U-shaped galley. Her pilothouse has excellent visibility with enough seating for everyone to enjoy the cruise. High bulwarks, covered side decks, a capacious foredeck, covered cockpit and huge flying bridge and deck complete her accommodations.
Sea Eagle will cruise comfortably at 9-10 knots at about 1 mpg, giving her a lengthy range of 1000 miles. Along with 400 gallons of water and a watermaker on board, she is capable of weeks of cruising without the need to replenish often. Recent maintenance includes new varnish, bottom paint, and new zincs, all completed this past winter. Additionally, all her batteries (4-8D’s and 10-6V golf cart) were replaced in 2019.
If you’ve dreamed of living aboard without sacrificing comfort or you’re looking for an ultra-capable cruiser, check out Sea Eagle in Gig Harbor, Washington, and listed at $399,000.
